These are classic roll-out cookies for holidays.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. margarine
• 1 egg
• 3-1/2 c. flour
• 2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 c. milk

DIRECTIONS

Cream sugar & margarine together.  Add egg & milk.  Blend in all else (may need to add a little extra flour).  Roll out thick.  Bake on ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake 7 min.
